Using tobacco in any form is very harmful to your health. If you smoke tobacco through a cigarette or shisha, the risk increases with health problems such as cancer, heart and respiratory disease. Chewing paan/betel nuts can cause oral crabs and can have a significant impact on your health.

There are many ways to quit, from using nicotine replacement therapies or e-cigarettes, to free up quiet tools, and to stop smoking from experienced support from local NHS services. You can fit your pack into your life as you are up to four times more likely to quit successfully with free expert advice and help from your local service stop smoking.

Tower Hamlets provide quiet stop smoking services to all residents and people who work or study here in Tower Hamlets. They also provide culturally sensitive services to people from Somali, South Asian, and migrants communities who eat tobacco or use paan. Female counselors are available and patients can be seen one-to-one or in a group setting.

Specialized service is available for pregnant women and those with high levels of destination who may need extra-moderate support provided in groups or privately. Clients can report to their GP or report through the experience.
