Stop smoking service | North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust
Stopping smoking is one of the most useful things you can do for your health.
We know quitting smoking is not always easy. People who receive support from the local smoking service are more likely to stay free and four times more likely to stay smoke free.
Our team of specialist advisors have many experiences in helping people quit smoking.
We have also made a smokefree NHS pledge, as part of a national programme, to help the entire NHS go smokefree.
Covid-19 Virus Data
The Stockton Specialist Stop Smoking Service has adapted its procedures in response to COVID-19 pandemic. We’ve risen to the challenges that it has presented and have seen the opportunity to offer new ways to reach our customers.
We are proud to offer access to our services via telephone, face-to-face consultation, and even remote video consultations using the secure NHS Watch Anywhere video service.
The feedback we have had from customers about new ways of working is really encouraging.
The Stop Smoking Service remains committed to helping and supporting stop smoking in your health and will continue to do so.
