Smokefree Wiltshire – Wiltshire Council

left to help

Our trained smoking advisors continue to offer welcoming, non-judgmental advice and support across the county. Counselors can give you tips and information when working with you to beat your cravings and change your smoking habit. Your counselor can also discuss the possibility of smoking cessation medications and help to choose the right one for you. A lot of Nicotine replacement, Champix and Zyban are available on prescription. If you’d like to use an email cigarette or vaporiser, we can still help you break free from tobacco use. Let your counselor know that you have your advice and can work with you to stop smoking.

The first session will last for 20-30 minutes with the following sessions 10 minutes to complete the course of 12 weeks. Due to the coronavirus pandemic most local smoking stop services have been delivered remotely

Support is available in most GP clinics as well as through Health Improvement Coaches.
