Get help from a safety trainer

Stopping smoking is one of the best things you can do to improve your health.

A health care trainer can help you get one for upkeep, help you cut down, or stop smoking for good.

You can help:

  • understand the benefits of stop smoking
  • prepare your quit
  • understand what is stopping you from making changes
  • cope with issues
  • stay emotional and confident
  • get regular carbon monoxide tests
  • join the cut out program

A health care worker can give you an e-sponsor to present smoking medications at the same price as a prescription, or for free if you can’t pay for prescriptions.

They can also give you advice on e-cigarettes and how they can help you stop smoking.

Find an NHS stop smoking service

If you are over 12 years old and want to stop smoking, you can ask your GP to refer you to a local smoking cessation service. You can also find a local pharmacy that has a smoking service.

You can sign up for the NHS Smokefree service to support and make an appointment to see a counselor. You can get help from them via e-mail, text or through the app.

Depending on how much you smoke, it can help with some nicotine cravings. He could do this;

To help stop smoking at home

If you can’t leave your home easily due to a long-term illness or illness, a counselor can come to you. They can give you unique advice and support in your family, including medicines to help you stop smoking.
