Free help to help quit smoking
If you live in North East Essex and would like to quit smoking, Essex Lifestyle Service can help. The program provides free prescription drug composition and support from a health care professional.
What does the program include?
The medications may include Champix, which can help to reduce cravings and alleviate withdrawal symptoms. nicotine replacement can be prescribed. The service can provide up to 12 weeks of prescriptions.
Your safety car will assist you in maintaining your locomotive and will provide advice on changing habits that will last. You can even meet a health coach face-to-face in a communal venue that is convenient for you. Sessions are available Monday – Saturday during the day and evening. For example, if you prefer, your coach can contact you by telephone, text, or e-mail or from three combinations.

Vaping or using cigarettes help me quit smoking?
These products are not yet regulated or licensed as medicines, and therefore we cannot recommend their use. However, Public Health England released an independent estimate, which concluded e-cigs are the best estimate at around 95% less harmful than conventional cigarettes.
